Gold Coast Oceanway
This iconic 36km coastal pathway stretches from The Spit in the north to Point Danger in the south, linking beaches, parks, cafés and scenic stops. It’s mostly flat, paved, and ideal for E-Trike riders looking to take in the ocean air. The Oceanway is your best bet for long, smooth rides with constant sea views and plenty of places to pause along the way. Stick to the major stretches through Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Miami and Burleigh for the best experience.

Broadwater Parklands
This expansive foreshore park in Southport is perfect for families, with wide paved paths, play zones, picnic areas, and a splash park that’s popular with young children. It’s flat, accessible, and great for a relaxed cruise or as a picnic stop. The Spit
A quiet northern peninsula offering long flat stretches, picnic areas, and less tourist traffic. Great for a longer ride with fewer stops. The sealed road to the tip of The Spit is fully E-Trike friendly, and the views over the seaway are a peaceful reward. HOTA – Home of the Arts
Ride riverside to one of the Gold Coast’s premier cultural hubs. HOTA features galleries, open-air stages, lakeside lawns, weekend markets and a cinema – all surrounded by cycle-friendly paths. If shopping is your idea of a good ride destination, look no further than Pacific Fair. One of Australia’s largest luxury shopping centres, it’s home to designer flagships like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Gucci, alongside popular eateries and a resort-style aesthetic. You’ll find shaded courtyards, open-air terraces and loads of window shopping. ⚠️ A word of caution: tram line construction might make following directions to Pacific Fair tricky, and Google Maps may not reflect current detours. This is one of the Gold Coast’s most picturesque beach zones – beloved by surfers, photographers and beachcombers alike. Currumbin Alley offers peaceful views over the creek mouth and long stretches of sand. Elephant Rock provides a stunning lookout and a small slice of natural drama. It’s a gorgeous place to ride to, soak it in, and maybe grab a coffee nearby. ⚠️ Just note: while Google Maps may label some paths as accessible, the inclines near Elephant Rock are steep and may not be suitable for all E-Trike riders.
