Cycle through quaint villages like Saint-Saturnin-lès-Avignon and Pernes-les-Fontaines, each with its own unique charm.

Throughout your ride, keep an eye out for charming cafes lining the route, perfect for a refreshing pit stop and a taste of local delicacies.

Carpentras awaits, ready to unveil its hidden gems and Provençal delights. This charming town is the perfect destination to unwind after a day of exploration, offering a taste of local culture and delectable cuisine.


Day 3: Carpentras to Sault / Distance travelled: 40km

Saddle up for a day of breathtaking beauty as your journey from Carpentras to Sault takes you through the heart of lavender country. This is your chance to witness the majestic lavender fields in all their glory, especially if you’re travelling during the summer bloom season, typically from late June to early August.

Picture yourself cycling through a sea of vibrant purple, the intoxicating scent of lavender filling your senses. Charming villages like Mazan, Momoiron, and Flassan dot the landscape, offering glimpses into the rich Provençal culture.

Day 5: Gordes to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence / Distance travelled: 40km

It’s Day 5, and today your journey takes you from picturesque Luberon National Park to the artistic haven of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Enjoy a leisurely ride punctuated by rolling hills and wide-open plains.

As you make your way to Saint-Rémy, detour through Cavaillon – the charming “Melon Capital of Provence”! Sample the sweetness of its renowned melons and discover the local flavours of this quaint town.

Upon arrival in Saint-Rémy, you’ll instantly understand why Van Gogh was so captivated by its vibrant beauty. Follow the Van Gogh trail, where reproductions of his iconic masterpieces stand at the very spots he painted them. Step into history and explore the grounds of the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole psychiatric hospital, even visiting the room where Van Gogh sought refuge.
